Brave

maybe the things we are the most afraid of are the things with the most worth.

maybe the one dream you've been afraid to pursue is the one dream you were meant to follow.

maybe nothing good is ever to be gained without some effort and struggle.

maybe all we need is some bravery. a bit of courage;

to throw our hands in the air and know that nothing is impossible. 

that Jesus is with us. 

maybe what is holding us back is simply a dread of vulnerability?  

 Of being out in the open... of failure.

but how can we know unless we try? how can we win unless we let go of the fear?

and maybe... maybe it isn't about not being afraid. 

  maybe it's about being terrified but jumping anyway.

let's be brave this summer.

the fact that summer is here ||

that I am finally getting back into writing after several months of "writer's block" ||

the fact that I'm driving again after several weeks. no, I didn't get my license revoked || long story
life || it seems to me that when you look at it right the good outweighs the bad

anticipating:

Frontier Days || I love the crowd. I love the unusual bustle and life that fills this city.
the carnival || let me tell you there is nothing quite like sitting on a ferris wheel after the sun's gone down and seeing the city lights and all the brilliantly colored lights from the all the rides.

a special surprise I've got planned for a very very special someone || oh, I can't wait to see the look on her face
my birthday this summer || yeah, let's just say I have a lot planned.
