Life is Beautiful

Dear Friends,
I've been learning that we tend to look on the dark side of things... that it's usually the sad, and disappointing things we make a big deal out of.
We tend to remember the failures, and wrongs done us, but forget all the love, and forgiveness for our wrongs.
We go through life being busy, and hardly having any time for those around us.... or maybe we have a lot of time, and yet don't look around us at the beauty.... ....
I know I've done this so many times... I place both of my hands on the dissapointments, and hard things, when all the while there is so much loveliness, and wonder in this world of ours... if only we take the time to look for it.
God has been really opening my eyes up to the fact that life is beautiful... that here is so much happiness to be found if only we shake off the bad things, and reach for the good... that with Him, our hearts are perfect.
There is so much beauty in little things..... maybe just things that stir your heart, and put a smile on your lips.

Maybe it's a cup of steaming coffee on a wintry, snowy day-

Maybe it's the sound of your favorite instrument....

Maybe it's an afternoon spent waiting for a loved one to arrive....

Maybe it's writing down your thoughts on a cloudy day...

Maybe it's having a tea party with your Mom...

Maybe it's an hour spent dreaming about distant lands, and their people...

Maybe it's summer daydreams...

Maybe it's a picture that stirs someting within you, and makes you want to write an entire book about one picture...



Maybe it's little children, and teddy bears... <3

Maybe it's capturing special moments in a unique and beautiful way...

Maybe it's bubbles on a hot, lazy afternoon...

Maybe it's the first snow flakes of winter...

Maybe it's vintage things.. bringing thoughts about what once was...

Maybe it's balloons on someone's birthday....

Maybe it's awe-inspiring sunsets...

Maybe it's Christmas lights...

Maybe it's quotes... =) *wink*

 

Let's focus on the good things... the happy things, and realize that Life is so Beautiful! :)
