My list of little/big things to be thankful for in my life-
*My family. seriously, they are amazing. Even when I am having a really hard day or am just upset, I can never stay mad. they always make me laugh. :)
*the wind. Sure, it can drive me crazy sometimes but I love the feel of it in my hair and just the wild feeling of exhilaration that it gives me...
*Snow and gray skies. simply beautiful.
*the color pink and sparkles.
*vintage treasures. I can't tell you how much I love things with a history to them. I could spend hours looking through vintage pictures, or anything... really.
*Going to a piano store and playing on all different kinds... I fell in love with a vintage piano from 1923. $29.000. :) slightly above our price range. ahh. it had the most darling and lovely sound. ever.
*feeling much like a failure but then God reminds me that I am a work in process and that He's not finished with me yet... <3
*My amazing piano teacher, Mrs. Young. she has encouraged me; pushed me when needed, and always kept me moving forward. She has shown me how much I love music, and has given me the key to the door of expressing my feelings in the sounds of a piano. I will forever be grateful for her guidance... her understanding, and her faith in me.
*Larkrise to Candleford. the most beautiful series. ever! oh, and Minnie! you've got to love her! :)
*Owl City. enough said.
*change. I can hardly believe I am saying this, but while change is difficult (terribly painful) I am seeing that God can use it for so much good.
*french braids, and ribbons in your hair...
*a steaming cup of peppermint tea and a good book/movie
*friendship bracelets and rope bracelets in general
*full moon. I am one of those people that will stand and stare at that round thing that lights up the sky at night... I'll think about the people dearest to me; of times in my life that are past, and of times yet to come...
*and most importantly; I am thankful for Jesus Christ. for without Him, I would have no life.
