~The Princess~
She spins around in her little pink dress; twirling and swaying to the music. She's a little girl, but she's a princess. Not by birth but by right. For the King Himself has adopted her. A tiara is placed on her head, and everywhere she goes people know that she's the King's daughter.
The little girl grows up into a beautiful young woman and now people know she's a princess not only by the tiara on her head, but by the way she carries herself.
Every step she takes flows with dignity and honor. Her back is straight and her head held high in humble pride in her Father's name. Her movements are filled with grace, and her speech is like honey.
She never raises her voice but speaks in gentle, kind tones. Her laughter meets the ear as a bubbling brook. She is not afraid to be herself but she realizes that she has given up her identity and taken on her Father's. She loves new hairstyles and cute clothes, but she never places them above her relationship with her Father and in whatever she chooses to wear she seeks to bring glory to Him, and to her future husband.
When she is around young princes she acts with quiet honor in whatever she does, but she is always friendly and cheerful. She does not make them think that she cares more for them than she does, but she treats each of them with respect and courtesy, seeking to build them (and everyone she comes in connection with) up, and encourage them to become better.
She acts and speaks in humbleness as she realizes that if her Father had not adopted her she would still be a villager, lost forever. She also knows that although she is becoming more like her Father every day she is still fighting enemies in her heart and so she never looks down on anyone but thinks of everyone better than herself.
In her thought life she seeks to take every thought captive and she is careful with where she lets her mind wonder. This princess does not spend her days on useless things, remembering that her Father has placed her in charge of her days and that life is short.
Mostly she seeks to live a life of purity and holiness... set apart for her Father's kingdom.
She is secure in His love and finds His strength when she is weak.
She is the King's daughter-
