Dear Friends,
This week I've been learning (due to reading "Holiness" by J.C. Ryle. That book is amazing, I would really encourage you all to check it out.) how holy God is... how much He hates sin... how He wants us to live lives that are sanctified. Not just on sundays... but everyday of our lives.
Yes, there are hard days... we all have them, but when we give in to defeat we are exactly where the enemy wants us. So I just want to encourage you all to be strong. To fight with confidence. As Apostle Paul said,
And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. -1 Cor. 9:25-26
God has given us everything we need to be victorious.... be strong; you are weak, but He is exceedingly mighty in strength.
