Okay, so Katie did this on her blog, and I thought it would be kinda cool to do it too.. especially since I don't know what else to post. :)
How long (approximately) do you know me, and what did you think on our first meeting?
Please be honest, and don't be afraid to hurt my feelings! :)

  3. Wow, the memories! I met you at that Christmas thing 4, going on 5, years ago. I was anxious to have a friend my age during that time of my life, and so when I saw you, I just hoped that you lived near me and that you would like me. We talked for a while that evening, and I remember just how exuberant I was that evening as I went to bed. I had a friend! And after that we emailed eachother and started talking on the phone with eachother every day!! During 2010 especially we got very close, and have been such wonderful friends and sisters ever since. We have so many memories together, which I'm thankful for. I so often thank the Lord for you, and pray for God to keep your heart pure, and for you to be able to keep that joyful smile for God. :)
I love and miss you so much, my dear sister! Keep focusing on Christ!! <3

  5. Ok, I'm going to try this again! I have known you for about 2 1/2 years, but it seems like so much more because of how close we have grown! I first met you about a month after we had started going to our church in 2009. I was in the back watching Joseph, and I decided to say hi. (which you know is not normal!) I said "hi my name is Laura." and you said "Oh I love that name! My name is Amy." the next thing that you said I will remember forever! You said "how old are you?!" and when I said twelve, you were like "yay! Now I'm not the youngest in the older kids group! I'm thirteen." It was so funny. I am so glad that God had us cross paths and hope that we will never depart! I love you more that you know! Lou

  6. Amy, I've known you since last fall when my family first came down there for one Sunday for a visit. I did play volley ball, I'm sure I at least attempted .haha. You were one of those super sweet girls that "made me feel all better" when I totally made my team lose. (I might be mix up last fall and this January, so...) So anyways I thought you were cheerful, were the type to never get mad, and that you were a string bean. I felt extra fat standing near you because you were so thin. I wanted to stuff your face with dough nuts until you "chubbed out" that way I wouldn't look so big..haha. The dough nuts part I didn't think of just when I met you, but that is still the truth.;)
So, at bible camp I only grew to love you more! You are like a sweet cherry, bright, cheerful and a blast to shop with:) I always would cross my fingers when we played king on the court, or what I call speed volley ball, hoping that I'd be on the same team as you! (crossing my fingers is just a term, but I really wanted to be on your team ;) You were such a good buddy, you laughed at my jokes, and things I did, even when they were rather immature for my age. I never felt like I would have to be someone else around you. I have been greatly encouraged by what God is teaching and showing you in you life! You are a wonderful sister in Christ! Love you! ~Katie

  7. Lou- yeah, it is pretty amazing that you came up to me and actually talked to me when you first came :) but as you and I both know- God had a special plan in mind, and I am so thankful that you are in my life as a dear sister at heart, and friend. You have been such an incredible example to me, and have opened my eyes to issues that I never really thought about before.. and I thank you for that. Love you! Katie- haha!! You are so funny! Thank you so much for what you said it's very sweet, but I am afraid that I still have a lot of work to do to fit your discription of me. I am so very thankful that I got to meet you! God bless you as you strive to become His perfect princess! Love you!
oh, and Emily- thanks for being such a caring, praying sister to me! Love you! <3

  8. ok. I'll give it my best shot:)
the first time I met you was a little over a year ago at your church. and I thought you were super friendly and outgoing, tall, slender, super pretty, really sweet and funny. I was also probably slightly jealous of your volleyball skills. that week I got to know you pretty good, and found out that you are very passionate about your relationship with the Lord, and live your life with the desire of bringing glory to his name. I was also a little bit surprised when you, wesley, grace and I went up to give all those 'montana youth' a talking to. . . I guess I didn't expect you to be that bold or something, but it was funny :) I also found out that you were a very patient teacher when I tried in vain to master riding a swivel-board. . . :) it didn't take very long for me to decide you were definitely one of my best friends. :) since then we've become alot closer, and you have been one of the most encouraging, inspiring, sweet, understanding people I have ever known. Not to mention hilarious, random and fun-loving! :) We've made some good memories, like. . . lugging around my HUGE backpack (for one night) full of all my 'essentials' and getting to your house to be greeted by cups full of swedish bitters staring us in the face. :) I think I could write a couple more pages, but I should probably wrap it up. :)
Keep being the amazing, beautiful girl God made you. Love and miss you TONS!!!!
