More than this~

There is a time for everything... even the things we don't want to happen. The things that make us cringe, and hide away. The things that could make us grow cold, and hard hearted. Because the fact is that this life is difficult. Nobody said it was going to be easy. Yet even among all the sorrow and heartache, I am told to run the race with perseverance; to not give up. To be strong.
                            Because there is something so much greater than this.
Look around you and see the suffering... feel it even in your own heart, but when it is breaking it does not end there; because the One that made you is holding your heart.
And so even though this life is filled with changes... changes for good and bad; changes that we have no ability to alter, we know that everything... everything happens for good to them that love God!

I know I've wondered why certain things have had to happen.... why things have had to change. Why people change, and why feelings have to be so fickle. I've been frightened at the thought of my foggy future... yet even though I can't see ahead of me more than right now, and this moment, I know there is more than this; that God is guiding each of us in His perfect plan, and that this life is about something so much greater than we could ever imagine.

So while the storm rages around us, we can run..... run straight into His arms, and there, in that place of rest, you will find what life is really about. and then, as you look around, you'll find that this life is pretty amazing, and that God is the captain, and you, the sailor.

                                so you have nothing to worry about because He is guiding every step you take.
