Live Like That- Sidewalk Prophets
Sometimes I think
What will people say of me
When I'm only just a memory
When I'm home where my soul belongs
Was I love
When no one else would show up
Was I Jesus to the least of those
Was my worship more than just a song
I want to live like that
And give it all I have
So that everything I say and do
Points to You
If love is who I am
Then this is where I'll stand
Recklessly abandoned
Never holding back
I want to live like that
I want to live like that
Am I proof
That You are who you say You are
That grace can really change a heart
Do I live like Your love is true
People pass
And even if they don't know my name
Is there evidence that I've been changed
When they see me, do they see You
I want to live like that
And give it all I have
So that everything I say and do
Points to You

I honestly am not quite sure of my answer... there are several that mean a lot to me. One would definitely be He Will Carry Me by Mark Shultz. I guess it means so much to me because I was listening to it when I was going through a really hard time, and the words spoke volumes to me. You never said it would be easy, but You said You'd see me through the storm. Another one would be Let the Waters Rise by Mikeschair. This song speaks of surrender, and honestly, to me, it speaks of the hand of God. God, You know where I've been and You were with me then. You were faithful before, You'll be faithful again.
But the ultimate song of surrender, and the song that always lays my heart at the foot of the cross would be: Completely by Ana Laura.
So take my heart; take my soul I surrender everything to Your control.
I'm excited to hear from you, and just a quick side note to all my readers... you guys are amazing. thank you.

I think my favorite song that spoke to me the most was the song: "I Will Be Your Shield" by Rachel Wissmann. It was such an encouragement and uplift to me and my family as we went through M's cancer journey.
