Dear friends,
Time has been passing swiftly, as I study for my GED/ACT tests, and write in my book. (and other things!;)
One of our chickens has been pecked by the others, and I separated her from them in a hope that her wounds will heal. She is frightened of the other chickens, and will come to me, and I will either lift her up and put her in my lap, or she will hide close to me, or under my skirt. Is not that what our Heavenly Father does for us- His children? If only when we are oppressed, or frightened, we would run to the shadow of His wings! For does it not say; 'Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.'- Psalm 107:19
I think that if we would do that, and let God protect us instead of trying to do it on our own, we would save ourselves so much pain! For the Lord is, '.. my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.' -Psalm 18:2
~God is good!~
Love, Amy
