Well, hi everyone! Welcome to a beautiful, windy, and partially cloudy day. It is around 64.F!
I am so excited about Spring! This year has been so special to me. It is actually hard for me to explain. You see, last year was really hard for me. There were so many lessons for me to learn... So many valleys to go through.
And then this Spring, God met with me. How do you explain something like that?? It was so awesome. It was like, I had a reason to live. To really live!!! Well, my Mom and I wrote this poem, I wanted to share it with you. If you want to look at the other poems I have written, there is a tab on the top of my blog.

The Cry of The Heart-

My life in battered ruins lay,
My shattered heart, and the broken clay.
Peace and happiness all gone,
I just sat there waiting, for the dawn.

I was tired and alone,
Not a sound came from my lips, not even a moan.
I'd turned away from God,
My life was headed for the sod.

Wrapped in chains of bondage I cried,
I had no other plea, I just asked why.
Angry at God, angry at His Son,
I had no friend to stand by me, no not one.

When my life was coming to an end,
I knew there was no way to mend,
All the sad mistakes, I'd made,
It was a heavy weight.

I knew I was dying, my heart was crying.
"God, I don't know You, and I didn't care.
But now there is no one to hear my prayer.
God if You're real, please save me from death."

He is real, my life was spared.
He was the only One who cared.
Now I have peace, the world cannot give,
Forgiveness of sin, a reason to live.

Joy of my heart;
Freedom from sin my Lord did impart,
My past could not mar',
The peace and love from the God of my heart.
