What an awesome God we serve!

Hello everyone,
This week went absolutely wonderful. I don't know whether I can explain what happened. The first couple days of sessions, prayer times, lunch, choir practice, volley ball and discussion groups went, well....... normal. Nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary. Then on Wednesday night after the evening service, God spoke straight to my heart. I knew there were things that I wasn't giving to God, and things that I had not asked forgiveness for. So after the sermon, I think almost all of the youth went to the second story of our church building, (where all the prayer rooms were.) and just prayed, and prayed, and prayed. Yes, and cried, but God met with us. He was there. We were filled with His presence. It was incredible. Then a couple of us felt a heavy burden to pray for some of the young people who were still not saved. Everyone joined in, and we pleaded, and prayed. Suddenly, I cant remember how, but we found out that one of the young men,the one we were praying for, gave His life to God. Oh, the shouts that went up! :) Well, we kept on praying. Then, one of my good friends came into the prayer room, and told us that her brother got saved. Another prayer answered. It was so awesome, to see how God moved. The two converts joined us in prayer, and we prayed that one of my friends who was not a christian. Anyway, we prayed that he would not be able to sleep. And guess what. My friend woke up, and he said that he could not sleep until he had made it right with God. Isn't that incredible???!!!!!  Most of the youth stayed up all night praying, can you imagine?? All night!
The next day, Thursday, was totally awesome. Five of my friends, including myself, re-dedicated our lives to God. We let go of things that we were holding unto. Oh, the peace that I have now. I am complete in Him!
I want to tel you guys something. Before I went to this bible school, I was your regular christian. I read my bible, prayed, and went to church on Sunday. But I did not enjoy praying. Seemed like it was so boring. I am so thankful to say that God has changed my heart. When we pray expecting that God will meet with us, it is so incredible how it changes your prayer life. Keep living your life for Christ! He is so worth it! May He get the glory of my life.
Much love!!!
~Amy
